The festival is centered around the main Plaza de las Tres Culturas in the centre of Frigiliana where over 150 stalls selling food, clothes and local produce all vie for attention. A large music concert with stage and seating takes place here each night with a late fireworks display. Programs are available in English and Spanish.

Cuban-Spanish jazz singer, Omara Portuondo, will be closing this year's festival with a performance starting at 10pm on Sunday 28 August on Plaza de las 3 Culturas. Portuondo was a born in Havana, Cuba in 1930 and has sung with the greats including the Buena Vista Social Club and Duke Ellington. Her performance will be followed by a firework.
